Biotech startup gets multimillion-dollar grant to treat bone cancer at new Austin lab
Molecular Templates Inc., fresh off a move to an expanded lab, has landed a $15.2 million grant to further its pipeline of cancer-fighting drugs.
The award for the Austin biotechnology company was part of $93 million in funding announced Nov. 16 by the Cancer Prevention and Research Institute of Texas, a state agency that funds research and prevention efforts targeting the diseases.
