Myelodysplastic Syndromes with Bone Marrow Fibrosis: a Distinct Entity

The WHO 2008 MDS classification recognizes MDS with fibrosis (MDS-F) as an unclassified subtype and there remains little data pertaining to the treatment and outcomes in the MDS-F. The primary objective of this study is to examine a large MDS population to determine the relationship between BMF and survival outcomes in the context of new risk stratification models.
