Two new sulfur-containing iridoid glucosides from Saprosma merrillii

The structures of these compounds were elucidated using comprehensive spectroscopic methods. The absolute configuration of 3 was determined by X-ray crystallographic analysis for the first time. The absolute configuration 4 was determined by comparing CD spectra of 3 and 4. The inhibitory activities of all compounds against two cancer cell lines were evaluated. Graphical abstract
