Financial management of a large multisite randomized clinical trial

ConclusionsPerformance‐based budgets conserve funding, promote compliance, and allow for additional sites at modest additional cost. Costs of large‐scale clinical trials can thus be reduced through effective management without compromising scientific integrity.
