People are becoming more self-centred, says new research. The shocking death of Louise Wolstenholme suggests this may be truePsychopaths don’t yawn. They might yawn when they’re tired, or bored, or when the conversation switches to a subject that isn’t linked to them, but when other people yawn, psychopaths don’t. They don’t yawn because they don’t give a monkey’s what other people feel.In this they are different to orangutans, which apparently laugh when another orangutan laughs; and from elephants, which use their trunks to stroke an elephant in pain.
