In systole, due to muscle contraction, vessel is getting squeezed.Contributed by Dr Rakesh Gopal , Apollo hospital Chennai(Consultant Interventional Cardiologist)Studied Interventional Cardiology at Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute for Medical Sciences and TechnologyFrom Sumer's Radiology Site http://www.sumerdoc.blogspot.com -The Top Radiology Magazine.
