Lexicographic optimization-based planning for stereotactic radiosurgery of brain metastases

Nowadays, automation has found an ideal environment in radiation oncology helping to guarantee high-quality treatments [1,2,3,4], with a high level of standardization and harmonization, reducing the burden of a growing number of highly demanding procedures [5]. In particular, stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS) significantly impacts on institutional workload being the first option for patients with up to 10 brain metastases (BM) according to international guidelines [6,7,8,9,10].
