Palliative Care in the Post-Roe Era: A Call to Engagement and Advocacy

1. Participants will self-report the ability to describe four effects of the Dobbs v. Jackson decision on the field of palliative care, assess the extent of their impact, and summarize why the decision matters in a way that they could communicate to institutional and government leaders.2. Participants will self-report the ability to facilitate conversation about the effects of the Dobbs decision within their institution and community, implement action to protect patients ’, families’, and clinicians’ capacity to consider all routes of care, and network with clinicians in other states to broaden impact.
