112 A novel tool development, identifying the unmet rehabilitation needs of lung cancer patients at diagnosisa pilot study

Patients diagnosed with lung cancer often present with advanced disease (26,100 cases (65.6%) per year) and multiple comorbidities [1, 2]. The coexistence of advanced lung cancer and comorbidities leads to significant symptom burden, necessitating prompt assessment and intervention to optimise function, independence and quality of life. In August 2023, we conducted a preliminary study that involved redesigning a local allied health professional (AHP) rehabilitation screening tool for identifying and stratifying the rehabilitation intervention needs of lung cancer patients at the time of diagnosis.
