The outcome of endovenous intervention for acute iliofemoral deep venous thrombosis with and without inferior vena cava filter
CONCLUSION: Endovenous intervention in the form of CDT for acute iliofemoral DVT without an IVC filter is safe and not associated with an increased risk of pulmonary embolization than filter usage. The routine use of IVC filters should not be used mandatorily during CDT.PMID:38629793 | DOI:10.1177/02676591241247294
