Perinatal Science International: a new meeting of the European Association of Perinatal Medicine

Over March 7-9th 2024, a group of around 42 academics, clinicians, basic scientists, and policymakers with an interest in perinatal medicine came together on the historic island of San Servolo in the Venetian lagoon, for the first meeting of Perinatal Science International. Here we describe the genesis of Perinatal Science International, the rationale for its establishment, insights that emerged at the initial meeting, and our ambitions for future editions.
