Needle Pain Mitigation Implementation

Needle pain mitigation strategies are not consistently offered to patients in our organization. Pharmacy reports and team member survey suggested we offer these strategies in less than 25% of patient needle procedures. The purpose is to determine the best implementation strategies to increase the frequency of offering pharmacological and non-pharmacological interventions during a needle procedure as evidenced by pharmacy reports and team member survey by 20% in the pilot areas. A secondary metric includes Patient and Family Experience survey scores and comments.
