Applying Evidence-Based Quality Improvement Methods to Adapt an Intervention for Implementation Within Diverse Healthcare Systems: Findings from the CORPs Pragmatic Effectiveness Trial

Veterans living in rural areas with chronic pain often utilize multiple systems of care, including the VA and community care. The Tele-Collaborative Outreach to Rural Patients with Chronic Pain (CORPs) is a pragmatic effectiveness trial testing the utility of collaborative care for rural veterans with high impact chronic pain. This presentation highlights results of formative implementation efforts made to adapt CORPs to diverse VA healthcare systems covering rural catchments from eight different states.
