Living in High-Poverty Areas is Associated with Reduced Survival in Patients with Thoracoabdominal Aortic Aneurysm

In this retrospective observational study of 575 patients with TAAAs, mortality was significantly increased in patients living in high-poverty areas and reduced if living over 100 miles from the treatment center. Patients living in high-poverty areas may require more comprehensive medical care.
