The sensitivity of a neck CT scan in detecting pneumothoraces in nonpenetrating trauma

CONCLUSION: The neck CT scan has demonstrated high sensitivity and specificity in pneumothorax detection. Thus, it may be used as an additional tool for those who could not receive or do not need a formal chest CT but have an indication for neck CT scans.PMID:38568121
