Reduced pertussis disease severity in infants following the introduction of pertussis vaccination of pregnant women in Spain, 2015-2019
CONCLUSIONS: Maternal pertussis vaccination in Spain led to a reduction in disease severity in the target group as compared to older infants, highlighting the need for increased efforts on educating healthcare professionals on the importance of maternal vaccinations.PMID:38531728 | DOI:10.1016/j.vaccine.2024.03.028
