3D-Printed Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm (AAA) Model for Hemodynamic Evaluation: A Pilot Study

Treatment of abdominal aortic aneurysms (AAAs) depends on the maximum diameter of the aneurysm. However, the pathophysiology and hemodynamics of AAA development and growth are still poorly understood. We aimed to develop a prototype of a patient-specific, AAA hemodynamic simulation model to find out patient-specific hemodynamic characteristics.
