Over the past thirty years, there have been remarkable incremental improvements in cystic fibrosis (CF) care, resulting in improved patient outcomes and a notable increase in median life expectancy from 28 years in 1990 to 45 years in 2018 [1,2]. However, the management of CF poses a significant burden, with adults typically dedicating almost 2 h daily to complete their CF treatments [3].
