Clinical efficacy evaluation of a novel negative pressure ureteroscopic lithotripsy for ureteral stones
We thank the Editorial Comment for recognizing our work on the novel negative pressure ureteroscopic lithotripsy (NP-URL). This method, integrating a tee joint and a 5F ureteric catheter, is designed to offer a more efficient and safer alternative to standard practices, focusing on reduced retropulsion and lower intrarenal pressures. It represents a significant step forward in making ureteroscopic lithotripsy both cost-effective and accessible, especially in resource-constrained environments. The editorial's recognition underscores the potential of NP-URL to improve stone-free rates and reduce complications without the need for expensive equipment.
