Comment on “Large Language Models in Ophthalmology Scientific Writing: Ethical Considerations Blurred Lines or Not at All?”

In their paper, Salimi and Saheb1 describe possible applications of Large Language Models (LLMs) especially ChatGPT for scientific writing, including bibliographic research. Based on own studies and those of others2-5 this seems to be too optimistic.
