Adhesion is a risk factor for postoperative recurrence of spontaneous pneumothorax

CONCLUSIONS: The present findings suggest that low BMI and intraoperative adhesion are risk factors for postoperative recurrence of spontaneous pneumothorax. For such patients, additional intraoperative procedures, such as covering with PGA sheet absorbable oxidized cellulose may be required to reduce postoperative recurrence.PMID:38249897 | PMC:PMC10797360 | DOI:10.21037/jtd-23-1127
