Clinical education models in rural practice settings: A scoping review

CONCLUSION: These findings suggest there exists great variability in rural clinical learning opportunities for nursing students. Academic practice partnerships could continue to be leveraged to provide learners with rural clinical education that meets the needs of both the educational institution as well as the rural communities in which learning takes place. An area of further research would be to focus on formal evaluation of the effectiveness of clinical education models in the rural context.PMID:38310708 | DOI:10.1016/j.nepr.2024.103906
