Gender-specific Reference Range for Serum Leptin in Omani Population
CONCLUSIONS: We identified gender-specific reference ranges for serum leptin in a large cohort of Arabs. The optimum cut-off value for serum leptin to determine metabolic derangement with the highest sensitivity and specificity was 24.1-28.9 ng/mL. Future studies are needed to study the relative risk of higher serum leptin using prospective studies.PMID:38225999 | PMC:PMC10788847 | DOI:10.5001/omj.2023.96
