Response to a “Letter from Editor”, dated 26 January 2024, ref JPUROL-D-24-00056 re JPUROL-D-23-00588, from Kinga Kowalczyk, relating to article: “Volume of the normal prostate gland in polish boys, aged 1–17 years: Based on transabdominal ultrasound - Prospective study”

On behalf of all the authors, I would like to thank you for the extremely interesting and positive analysis of our work. The aim of our study was to expand knowledge about the development of a normal prostate gland in childhood and to establish standards. After reviewing the sparse literature available on this topic, suggesting the usefulness of transabdominal ultrasound examination, we decided to use this method of diagnosis. Especially since it is easily accessible and non-invasive.
