Value of ultrasound examination using #enzian score in patients with deep endometriosis - a pilot test
Introduction: Deep endometriosis (DE) is an endometriosis phenotype, which often causes severe pain, bowel and fertility problems, resulting in reduced quality of life. Median time from onset of symptoms to the diagnosis is often more than 10 years. It is mainly due to location of the disease, which are difficult to recognize and detect. Successful treatment of this entity encompasses radical removal of all lesions. Thus, it is a need to select the most efficient method for precise mapping the disease.
