Hysterectomy by vaginal natural orifice transluminal endoscopic surgery (VNOTES): A video with step-by-step description

Introduction and aims of the study: Natural orifice transluminal endoscopic surgery is a minimally invasive technique, which uses the natural orifices of the human body as a channel for surgical work. This technique was initially introduced in 2004 and popularity in the world of gynaecology has been increasing. Several retrospective studies and reviews have compared the vaginal NOTES with the laparoscopic technique and the results have been promising, with a shorter surgical time, shorter hospital stay and better aesthetic results.
