Use of power morcellation during minimally-invasive gynaecological procedures in Poland
Introduction and aims of the study: Power morcellation is a surgical technique enabling removal of presumably benign uterine mass during a laparoscopic procedure, which was widely used until 2014. Nowadays special precautions are advised in order to decrese the risk of disseminated peritoneal leiomyomatosis and spread of occult malignancy. The aim of this study was to analyse power morcellation use among Polish gynaecologists.
