Untargeted Metabolomic Profiling Of Asthma Severity In Children In Relation To IL4R576 Variant Genotype And Notch4 expression

Asthma is the most common chronic lung disease of childhood, and the mechanisms underlying the severity of its clinical manifestations remain incompletely understood. Asthmatic children carrying the IL4R576 allele have increased risk of severe asthma and have been shown to have increased Notch4 expression on circulating Treg cells as a function of disease severity.
