Differences in Indications for Delivery Based on COVID-19 Infections Status Among an Underserved Pregnant Cohort: A Prospective Cohort Study

There is limited information regarding effects of COVID-19 infection status on obstetric interventions, including cesarean delivery (CD) and induction of labor (IOL). Earlier studies cite increased rates of CD and IOL among COVID-positive gravidae, with unclear indications, suggesting influence from COVID-19 positivity. We aimed to investigate differences in indications for primary CD and IOL in gravidae by COVID-19 status.
