165. Relationships Between Self-Perceived Risk of HIV, Behavioral Risk of HIV, and Self-Reported Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis (PREP) Utilization Among Young Men Who Have Sex With Men of Color: Preliminary Findings From a Prospective Cohort Study

HIV continues to impact the lives of adolescents and young adults (AYAs), especially young men who have sex with men (YMSM) of color. Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP) is a medication that is highly effective at preventing HIV infection; however, many AYAs at risk for HIV have not taken PrEP. One common reason for not taking PrEP is that some youth do not feel that they are at risk for HIV.
