New Flavonoids of the Genus Scutellaria. I. Scutellarisides I and II from S. titovii and S. catharinae

The composition of phenolic compounds fromScutellaria titovii Juz. andS. catharinae Juz. (Lamiaceae) growing in Kazakhstan was studied for the first time. A total of 26 known compounds and two newO-glycosylflavones (1 and2) were detected. The new flavonoids were elucidated as 5,7,2 ′-trihydroxy-6-methoxyflavone 7,2′-di-O-β-D-glucuronopyranoside (scutellariside I,1) and 5,6,7,4 ′-tetrahydroxyflavanone 7,4′-di-O-β-D-glucuronopyranoside (scutellariside II,2) using UV and NMR spectroscopy and mass spectrometry.
