Comment on “Long-term outcomes of foreskin reconstruction in distal hypospadias; a cohort study spanning twenty years”

I would like to express my gratitude to Sommer et  al. for their invaluable research, especially as a surgeon specializing in hypospadias repair surgery. The study offers genuinely valuable insights, and I have thoroughly examined it with great interest [1]. According to their study, Foreskin reconstruction (FR) in conjunction with hypospadias sur gery proves viable in the majority of distal and some distal corporal hypospadias cases. Employing a three-layer closure technique for FR demonstrates an acceptable complication rate, and importantly, does not appear to elevate complications related to urethroplasty.
