EE167 Budget Impact Analysis of Sensor Augmented Pump Therapy for Type 1 Diabetes (T1D) in Bulgaria
Sensor augmented pump (SAP) therapy combines continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) with subcutaneous insulin infusion (CSII) for the management of T1D. Evidence suggests that SAP provides better glycemic control than CSII alone. A 3-year budget impact analysis was conducted to assess the affordability of SAP therapy with PLGS algorithm for T1D in Bulgaria.
