High antim üllerian hormone level in oocyte donors: is it a problem?

As the trend toward delayed childbearing continues, the use of assisted reproductive technology and oocyte donors specifically have become increasingly necessary. An ideal oocyte donor is a young, healthy woman with good ovarian reserve who is predicted to respond well to ovarian stimulation. With this profile in mind, antim üllerian hormone (AMH) is used routinely as a screening tool for oocyte donors because it functions as an indirect measure of ovarian reserve and predicted response to ovarian stimulation (1).
