Bone Health Management in Advanced Prostate Cancer: a Survey of UK Genitourinary Healthcare Professionals (GU HCPs)
Purpose: Protecting and improving bone health in patients with locally advanced and metastatic prostate cancer (PC) is increasingly being recognised as important to manage due to androgen-deprivation therapy (ADT)-related bone density loss and associated threat of osteoporosis and fractures, as well as skeletal-related complications from bone metastases [1 –3]. Unfortunately, there is currently no standard practice in the UK. We created a survey to understand the current practice amongst UK GU HCPs.
