A Patient-Specific correspondence model to track tumor location in thorax during radiation therapy
The main goal of a radiation therapy treatment plan is to deliver the maximum radiation dose to the tumor while sparing the organs at risk. A precise measure of the tumor motion location is crucial for achieving this goal. For many treatment sites, respiratory-induced motion makes the measurement and tracking of the tumor location more difficult during radiation delivery.
