New instructions for authors specific to studies using animal experiments

Many submissions in basic science and preclinical studies are based on animal experiments. We have found that many submissions do not proceed to publication. Sometimes, this can be due to a research area that is not within the scope of our readership. However, in many situations, rejection is due to inadequate reporting of experimental detail, lack of important information (such as a hypothesis and a clear translational aspect), or failure to discuss the clinical relevance of the study.
