Brazilian Psychiatric Association guidelines for the treatment of generalized anxiety disorder (GAD). Pharmacological and Psychotherapy approach. Perspectives

CONCLUSION: There is extensive literature on many effective treatments for GAD. The present work summarizes the therapeutic possibilities, emphasizing those available in the Brazil.
