The Israeli and Palestinian Colors

Brief note about the poem:Saddened by the innocent lives lost, I felt frustrated by my inability to intervene. My thoughts wandered to a world where the colors of the Palestinian and Israeli flags embraced one another. This poem is a blending of those colors. When both of our eyes are closedThe sound of the cries has no borderBut when our eyes openThe drop of Red on the snowOver the Green meadowSpeaks the same language. If we were to open our eyes in the dark Black nightTogether, would we see the same pale White faces?Imagine, if we closed our eyes togetherand all of those beautiful colorsLit up the Blue skyAs the rainbow in the autumn rain.
