ConclusionThe CEBPA-FGF21 regulatory network may participate in the T2DM-induced skeletal muscle atrophy by regulating the autophagy-lysosomal pathway. Thus, our study provides interesting targets for prevention of skeletal muscle atrophy in T2DM.
