Commentary to Longitudinal follow-up of bladder function in children who participated in the Swedish Reflux Trial

Vesicoureteral reflux (VUR), without a doubt, is among the major subjects of pediatric urology. However, there has been a scarcity of randomized controlled trials that would yield scientifically solid data on VUR and its outcomes. Consequently, The Swedish Reflux Trial (SRT) [1] can be regarded as a milestone since it provided crucial information on the complicated path of VUR treatment. Even though not being perfect regarding design, enrollment, and execution, it helped us to shape our clinical practice.
