The mediating role of nurses ’ skills of managing the emotions of others in the relationship between their social capital and need for affect

ConclusionWe determined that nurses ’ skills of managing the emotions of others were effective in the relationship between their social capital and need for affect. How nurses dealt with emotions was positively affected by social capital. Emotion empowerment activities should be prepared in such a way to create a positive effect on the motivation of nurses to approach patients’ emotions.
