Diagnostic Criteria for Chronic Fatigue Syndrome - Jan. 27 Meeting

Watch this first meeting of an Institute of Medicine committee that is evaluating diagnostic criteria for myalgic encephalomyelitis, or chronic fatigue syndrome. Committee members will hear from invited federal officials, including Nancy Lee, designated federal officer for the Chronic Fatigue Syndrome Advisory Committee of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services and Elizabeth Unger, chief of the Chronic Viral Diseases Branch, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, as well as from representatives of several patient advocacy groups. The webcast will run from 1 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. EST on Jan. 27.
