Cracking the Cytokine Code in Atopic Dermatitis Reveals IL-13 as Dominant Driver of Disease Activity

Following a brief historical review of the immunopathogenesis of psoriasis including the cytokine network operative in psoriasis, a focus on the role of IL-13 in the cytokine hierarchy for atopic dermatitis (AD) will be presented.
