Clinical Pathologic Conference Case 5: Asymptomatic Patient Referred for Evaluation of Her Mouth
A 28-year-old Caucasian female was referred for evaluation and management of multiple asymptomatic exophytic cobblestone/papillary lesions throughout her oral mucosa, lip vermillion, and nasal vestibule (Figures 1 and 2). Her past medical history included bicuspid aortic valve, scoliosis, delayed and abnormal menses, longstanding chronic sinusitis, migraines, epidermodysplasia verruciformis of paternal lineage, and hepatitis B.
