Lasting Impacts of the COVID-19 Pandemic on Breast Cancer Diagnosis and Treatment in the United States

The COVID-19 pandemic was an unprecedented time that placed unique challenges on the screening and treatment of breast cancer in the United States. Collaboration amongst medical disciplines and societies provided guidelines and strategies to mitigate exposure of patients and medical providers to the virus and provide optimal care. We discuss the changes that the pandemic had on the multidisciplinary management of breast cancer.
