Veterinary Rehabilitation Updates: From Pain Management to Healing and Function

It is a great honor to act as guest editor and author for the Veterinary Clinics of North America: Small Animal Practice issue on Rehabilitation Therapy. Being a part of the field of veterinary rehabilitation has been a joy in my career. It provides so many benefits to our patients, including pain relief, mobility, quality of life, improved health, and enhancement of the human animal bond. The last rehabilitation therapy –dedicated issue was in 2005, and the field continues to grow by leaps and bounds, attracting practitioners all over the world passionate about their work.
