New Metabolites of Rhodiola rosea. II. Hibiscetin Glycosides

Two new flavonoids (1 and2) were isolated from the extract of flowers ofRhodiola rosea L. [Sedum roseum (L.) Scop., Crassulaceae]. Their structures were established as hibiscetin 3-O-(3 ″-O-malonyl)-β-D-glucopyranoside-8-O- β-D-glucuronopyranoside (rhodirosin G,1) and hibiscetin 3-O- β-D-glucopyranoside-8-O-(2 ″-O-malonyl)-β-D-glucuronopyranoside (rhodirosin H,2) using UV, IR, and NMR spectroscopy and mass spectrometry. Their antiradical activity was investigated.
