Anesthesia for suction embolectomy of the pulmonary artery

I got called to give anesthesia in Intervention radiology lab for a elderly with saddle pulmonary embolism on high flow oxygen. These patients are sick and have multiple comorbidties including previous Stroke, hypertension and hemodynamically unstable. First I was told please give sedation and monitor the vitals while the procedure is being done. Do other institutions have any protocols as to how to navigate here.
