Kolsoum Dalvand, Alireza Ghiasvand, Sepideh Keshan-Balavandy, Feng Li, Michael Breadmore A microfluidic device was 3D printed for the determination of uric acid levels in urine. The device was coupled with a smartphone-based colorimetric method. Response surface methodology including central composed design was used to optimize experimental variables. This device shows promise for the evaluation of renal and kidney function.
